Don't let Loan's family go through the cold months without heating

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $100. I have never been late before September's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
