Don't let Gianna's family go through the cold months without heating

Gianna is behind on heating bills after a reduction in hours and needs $100 to avoid a shut-off.

The heating account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $100. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $30 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Gianna's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $100 goes: • Electricity arrears: $65 • Reconnection and late fees: $25 • Down payment on a payment plan: $10 If you're reading this, thank you. - Gianna

Stay strong, Gianna. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 14 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Mérida
