The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on April unless I pay $100. I have never been late before a reduction in hours. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $10 first, which I don't have. I live with a disabled brother, and going through summer without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Chiamaka's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $100 goes: • Gas arrears: $60 • Reconnection and late fees: $15 • Down payment on a payment plan: $25 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Chiamaka
