Don't let Akello's family go through the cold months without heating
Help Akello cover an overdue heating bill so the household stays safe this the cold months.

The heating account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on August unless I pay $150. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have.
I live with two young children, and going through the cold months without heating isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here.
Where the $150 goes:
• Water arrears: $45
• Reconnection and late fees: $25
• Down payment on a payment plan: $80
With deep gratitude,
Akello

Praying for you, Akello. Shared this with my family. After 8 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best
