Don't let Adewale's family go through winter without electricity and water

A disconnection notice for electricity and water arrived and Adewale needs $50 before March.

The electricity and water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on March unless I pay $50. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $20 first, which I don't have. I live with three children under ten, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Adewale's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $50 goes: • Electricity arrears: $30 • Reconnection and late fees: $10 • Down payment on a payment plan: $10 I hope life is good to you. - Adewale
