Don't let Aaliyah's family go through winter without electricity
Help Aaliyah cover an overdue electricity bill so the household stays safe this winter.

The electricity account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on December unless I pay $800. I have never been late before an unexpected car repair.
I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $85 first, which I don't have.
I live with a disabled brother, and going through winter without electricity isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Aaliyah's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $800 goes:
• Water arrears: $660
• Reconnection and late fees: $60
• Down payment on a payment plan: $80
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Updates from Aaliyah
Good news. Because of your gifts ($244 in total) the plan for down payment on a payment plan is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Quick update: $30 raised so far (4%). I met with the utility company and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them. - Aaliyah
