She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,150. The registrar has said Despina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Despina has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Despina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Despina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Patras Community College bursar's office.
