Delilah is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in civil engineering at Fresno State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,950. The registrar has said Delilah can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Delilah has a 3.9 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Delilah would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Delilah isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Fresno State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
