Cyclone in Mumbai: help the Greenfield neighborhood rebuild
The cyclone damaged 72 homes in the Greenfield neighborhood. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The cyclone hit the Greenfield neighborhood on 8 May. My home was one of 72 damaged, and 8 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Food parcels for displaced families: $160
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $85
• Clean water and purification supplies: $125
• Roofing sheets and timber: $630
With deep gratitude,
Pranav

hang in there, Pranav. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless!
Sending strength. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Blessings!
Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 15 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Mumbai.
So sorry you're going through this, Pranav. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. All the best.
