Corrie needs a commercial oven to reopen a neighborhood bakery
Corrie has run a neighborhood bakery for twelve years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $950 will put it back on its feet.

For twelve years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Amsterdam. In July, a break-in took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $950 goes:
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $280
• Working capital for the first month: $450
• Shop repairs and licensing: $220
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Praying for you, Corrie. Small businesses are the heart of Amsterdam. Hope you're open again soon. Put this on a community board in Üsküdar this morning.

Sending strength. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 20 people at work. God bless.
