Consuelo is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Consuelo was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Tuxtla Gutiérrez Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Consuelo is 24, worked as a construction supervisor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Tuxtla Gutiérrez Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
