Claudia needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
Claudia has run a bicycle repair shop for three years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $3,600 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Colorado Springs. In September, a storm that collapsed the roof took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,600 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $1,950
• Initial stock: spare parts: $630
• Shop repairs and licensing: $440
• Working capital for the first month: $580
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

So sorry you're going through this. Small businesses are the heart of Colorado Springs. Hope you're open again soon. Put this on a community board in San Diego this morning. God bless.
Good luck, Claudia. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
rooting for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Kazan.
