Chhaya is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an accounting degree at Bhopal Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Chhaya can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Chhaya has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Chhaya would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Chhaya isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Bhopal Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
