Charlotte needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Los Angeles
Charlotte drives for a living in Los Angeles, and a broken clutch assembly has stopped all income for 10 weeks.
🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States1,054 views
I make my living with my taxi. 10 weeks ago the clutch assembly failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,100. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked twelve hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $135
• Towing and inspection: $160
• clutch assembly replacement (parts): $805
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Take care, Charlotte. Small businesses are the heart of Los Angeles. Hope you're open again soon.
I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Incheon so I could bring a meal. Take care!
Sending love. Small businesses are the heart of Los Angeles. Hope you're open again soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected
