Brooks's final semester of an agriculture degree in Bellevue
Brooks has worked and saved for four years to study an agriculture degree; a $4,450 gap now stands between him and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an agriculture degree at Bellevue Community College, and I'm one term away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,450.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a 3.6 average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,700
• Final term tuition: $1,400
• Exam and lab fees: $190
• Textbooks and materials: $160
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Montpellier.
Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We're a small family in Quezon City but we're thinking of you.
Stay strong. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 27 people at work.
