I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying an accounting degree at Munich Community College, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a library assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $3,250.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my department head has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Munich Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $900
• Final term tuition: $1,850
• Exam and lab fees: $195
• Textbooks and materials: $305

Hang in there. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings
Wishing you the best. Study hard! My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Munich
Rooting for you, Brigitte. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Put this on a community board in Asaba this morning. All the best
