Björn's stage 2 breast cancer treatment fund
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Stockholm University Hospital; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Björn was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in July. The oncology team at Stockholm University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Björn is 41, worked as a bakery worker until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Stockholm University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,850
• Transport to Stockholm University Hospital: $910
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $540
