Bhavani's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Mangaluru

Bhavani is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Mangaluru Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,050. The registrar has said Bhavani can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Bhavani has a 3.6 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Bhavani would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Bhavani isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $1,050 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $510 • Final term tuition: $500 • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Textbooks and materials: $15 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Rohit
