Batuhan's final semester of a degree in civil engineering in Istanbul
Batuhan has worked and saved for three years to study a degree in civil engineering; a $950 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Batuhan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at the Istanbul Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950.
The registrar has said Batuhan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Batuhan has a top-ten-percent average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Batuhan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Batuhan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
