Back to business - Sergei's comeback in Zaporizhzhia
Sergei lost a freezer and scales to floodwater and needs $500 to reopen a fish stall and support the family.

For fifteen years I have run a fish stall in Zaporizhzhia. In September, floodwater took a freezer and scales. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a freezer and scales: $160
• Initial stock: the first catch: $120
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Working capital for the first month: $120
Thanks for reading all this.

Wishing you the best. Small businesses are the heart of Zaporizhzhia. Hope you're open again soon. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.
