Back to business - Lincoln's comeback in Fort Worth
Lincoln lost a commercial oven to a fire in the building and needs $3,000 to reopen a neighborhood bakery and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a neighborhood bakery in Fort Worth. In August, a fire in the building took a commercial oven. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Replacing a commercial oven: $2,200
• Initial stock: flour, butter and sugar: $520
• Working capital for the first month: $280
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
Updates from Lincoln
Update from Fort Worth: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 3% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($43 in total) we've started the first stage. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

thinking of you and your family, Lincoln. I hope things turn around soon. Thinking of Fort Worth.
Stay strong. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
