Back to business - Lillian's comeback in Fayetteville
A roadside café in Fayetteville needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after the demolition of the market.

For nine years I have run a roadside café in Fayetteville. In December, the demolition of the market took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,400 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $710
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $420
• Shop repairs and licensing: $270
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Updates from Lillian
Quick update: $50 raised so far (4%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($30 in total) the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
1% there. the plan for shop repairs and licensing is now scheduled. Thank you.
