Back to business - Leah's comeback in London
Leah lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a fire in the building and needs $3,400 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For nine years I have run a barbershop in London. In August, a fire in the building took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $2,300
• Initial stock: supplies: $490
• Shop repairs and licensing: $210
• Working capital for the first month: $400
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Wishing you peace. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 26 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from San Fernando.
thinking of you. Hope you get there. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
Take care. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of London.
stay strong. Your post was clear and honest. After 15 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care
