Back on our feet: Yusuf and a teenage son and a daughter in primary school in Pretoria
Yusuf and a teenage son and a daughter in primary school need a bridge to stability after my partner leaving.

Last March I went through my partner leaving, and I'm now raising a teenage son and a daughter in primary school on my own. I work as a retail cashier, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a dental nurse in the evenings, which will triple my income by May, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Money goes toward rent, groceries, after-school care and the cost of my course. I'll give a monthly update with receipts.
Where the $800 goes:
• Childcare and after-school care: $250
• Groceries and school meals: $185
• Rent top-up: $365
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Sending love. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My husband and I read this together
thinking of you and your family, Yusuf. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Bandung
Hope it all works out. Shared this with my family. I hope May is when things finally get easier.
Hope things get better soon. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you.
Rooting for you, Yusuf. Shared this with my family. Greetings from London
