Back on our feet: Tariq and two young children in Mohammedia
Tariq and two young children need a bridge to stability after a long illness.
🇲🇦 Morocco1,210 views
Last March I went through a long illness, and I'm now raising two young children on my own. I work as a retail cashier, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a dental nurse in the evenings, which will triple my income by June, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $450 goes:
• Groceries and school meals: $135
• Childcare and after-school care: $165
• Course fees and exam costs: $150
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

We're at 82% thanks to 7 of you. I met with the landlord and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.
We're at 54% thanks to 3 of you. I made the first payment toward groceries and school meals. More news soon.
