Atsushi needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
A bicycle repair shop in Tokyo needs help replacing a full set of tools after floodwater.

For twelve years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Tokyo. In August, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $1,150
• Initial stock: spare parts: $250
• Shop repairs and licensing: $320
• Working capital for the first month: $430
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Rooting for you, Atsushi. Shared it with a few friends. God bless.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Atsushi!
Sure. The biggest one is replacing a full set of tools, $1,150. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
sending love. Your post was clear and honest. God bless
Praying for you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Epe.
