Apichart's stage 3 ovarian cancer treatment fund
Supporting Apichart through stage 3 ovarian cancer: medication, transport to the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute, and living costs while He can't work.
🇹🇭 Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand314 views
Apichart was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Apichart is 25, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Chiang Mai Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,800
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $110
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Household costs while unable to work: $500
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
