Amelia needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
Amelia lost two washing machines and a dryer to the demolition of the market and needs $4,650 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For three years I have run a laundry service in San Francisco. In August, the demolition of the market took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $4,650 goes:
• Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $3,000
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $760
• Shop repairs and licensing: $390
• Working capital for the first month: $500
Thanks for being kind about this.

sending strength. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of San Francisco.
Wishing you the best, Amelia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
