Alexander's final semester of a degree in civil engineering in Birmingham
A first-generation student, Alexander needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a degree in civil engineering.

Alexander is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Birmingham State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,150.
The registrar has said Alexander can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Alexander has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Alexander would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Alexander isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Birmingham State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,705
