A youth football pitch for the old Union bus depot: help our neighbors in Ikeja
Volunteers in Ikeja are raising $400 for a youth football pitch at the old Union bus depot.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the parish youth group, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $400.
It will serve about 197 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Safety equipment and signage: $65
• Permits and inspections: $55
