A youth football pitch for the Baobab vacant lot: help our neighbors in Gwagwalada
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $350 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 130 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
• Materials: $280
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
