A skate park for the old Union bus depot: help our neighbors in London
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $1,850 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Union bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $1,850.
It will serve about 549 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Permits and inspections: $340
• Tools hire and delivery: $360
