A service dog for Tania, an army veteran in Howrah
Tania served six years in the army; $500 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

I served six years in the army and was discharged in 2022 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $500.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $500 goes:
• Training provider fees: $210
• Housing deposit and first month: $220
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Essential household items: $15
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Wish I lived closer to Buenos Aires so I could bring a meal. God bless
Stay strong. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Móstoles.
