A service dog for Swati, an army veteran in Pune
An army veteran in Pune needs help with a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment after leaving service with a back injury.

I served four years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $750.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $750 goes:
• Training provider fees: $390
• Housing deposit and first month: $220
• Transport to appointments: $50
• Essential household items: $90
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
