A service dog for Saraswathi, a medical corps veteran in New Delhi
A medical corps veteran in New Delhi needs help with a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment after leaving service with a back injury.
Anywhere in the world1,490 views
Bharath served four years in the medical corps and was discharged in 2022 with a back injury. He has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote comes to $850.
Bharath is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $850 goes:
• Training provider fees: $380
• Housing deposit and first month: $310
• Transport to appointments: $75
• Essential household items: $85
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength. Looking forward to the next update. Love from Thủ Đức!
Sending good thoughts, Saraswathi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from Manukau.
Best of luck. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Kano.
