Saket
Shivam served four years in the army and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. He has been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place. The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $500. Shivam is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $500 goes: • Training provider fees: $250 • Housing deposit and first month: $185 • Transport to appointments: $65 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
