A service dog for Kemi, a navy veteran in Kano
Kemi served ten years in the navy; $750 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

Tunde served ten years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $750.
Tunde is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $750 goes:
• Housing deposit and first month: $280
• Transport to appointments: $40
• Training provider fees: $430
Thanks for reading all this.
