A sensory garden for children with autism for Pioneer Primary School: help our neighbors in San Cristóbal de las Casas
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a sensory garden for children with autism - we need $600 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a sensory garden for children with autism. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Pioneer Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 502 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $600 goes:
• Materials: $250
• Permits and inspections: $85
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $205
