A rainwater harvesting system for the Pioneer community hall: help our neighbors in San Antonio
Volunteers in San Antonio are raising $3,000 for a rainwater harvesting system at the Pioneer community hall.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $3,000.
It will serve about 356 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.

• Materials: $2,400
• Safety equipment and signage: $380
