A rainwater harvesting system for the Freedom health centre yard: help our neighbors in Lagos

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding. We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $100. It will serve about 149 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $100 goes: • Tools hire and delivery: $40 • Permits and inspections: $50 • Safety equipment and signage: $10 With deep gratitude, Peace
