For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Maple Park, but no funding. We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $850, and the remaining cost is $1,300. It will serve about 507 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.         Sure. The biggest one is safety equipment and signage, $410. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
