A playground for Acacia Park: help our neighbors in Moscow
Volunteers in Moscow are raising $950 for a playground at Acacia Park.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 23 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $950.
It will serve about 515 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $950 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $75
• Materials: $760
• Permits and inspections: $115

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Zoya.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. safety equipment and signage comes first ($75) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.
