The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,400. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment Shirley could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $7,400 goes: • Delivery and set-up: $75 • First-year servicing plan: $310 • pair of hearing aids: $7,015 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
