After fleeing Ukraine, the Mohammadi family has arrived in Paris with little more than their documents. They need help with a deposit, furniture and the first months.

Paris
My family left Ukraine 11 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Paris. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in October. I was an engineer in Ukraine, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $3,250 goes: • Rent deposit and first month: $1,350 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $920 • Winter clothing and school supplies: $600 • Language classes and bus passes: $195 • Phone and internet for school and job search: $185 Thank you so much.

Best of luck, Romain. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Greetings from Brescia.
