A fresh start in Móstoles: help the Karimi family resettle
Help a family of 5 start their new life in Móstoles: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.
🇪🇸 Spain1,922 views
My family left Yemen 7 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Móstoles. We're a family of five and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in November.
I was a farmer in Yemen, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by the Móstoles Welcome Table charity, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $310
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $130
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,560
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Stay strong, Enrique. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 9 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Hồ Chí Minh City
Praying for you, Enrique. I hope things turn around soon. I hope November is when things finally get easier.
Good luck, Enrique. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
