A fresh start in Haarlem: help the Hosseini family resettle
Help a family of 8 start their new life in Haarlem: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.
🇳🇱 Haarlem, North Holland, Netherlands2,552 views
My family left Somalia 7 months ago after we were targeted for our work. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Haarlem. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 4 months of rent, and that support ends in July.
I was an electrician in Somalia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $230
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $870
• Rent deposit and first month: $1,650
• Language classes and bus passes: $450
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

best of luck, Eren. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Haarlem.
sending love. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Praying for you, Eren. This could happen to any of us. It's not much but it's yours.
