The Yusuf family are rebuilding in El Paso after leaving Sudan; your gift pays for housing basics.

My family left Sudan 5 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in El Paso. We're a family of four and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 3 months of rent, and that support ends in July.
I was a teacher in Sudan, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent).
Where the $4,650 goes:
• Rent deposit and first month: $2,800
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $650
• Winter clothing and school supplies: $480
• Language classes and bus passes: $370
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $350
Glad we found this place.

this could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Riverside so I could bring a meal. God bless
Rooting for you, Shirley. Shared this with my family. Sent it to 32 people at work.
Hope this works out for you. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it!
