A covered market stall space for the Freedom health centre yard: help our neighbors in Saint-Denis
A community-led a covered market stall space at the Freedom health centre yard that will serve 360 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 29 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Freedom health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $3,100.
It will serve about 360 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $3,100 goes:
• Materials: $2,300
• Permits and inspections: $210
• Safety equipment and signage: $160
• Tools hire and delivery: $430
