A covered market stall space for the Baobab community hall: help our neighbors in Hồ Chí Minh City
Volunteers in Hồ Chí Minh City are raising $700 for a covered market stall space at the Baobab community hall.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Baobab community hall, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 233 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in March and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $530
• Permits and inspections: $55
• Safety equipment and signage: $60
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
