A covered market stall space: a volunteer-led effort in Girona
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $2,450 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,450.
It will serve about 377 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Materials: $1,850
• Permits and inspections: $155
• Safety equipment and signage: $250
• Tools hire and delivery: $195
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care
